Legislative Drafting
Overview
Nzamba Kitonga Advocates LLP ’s legislative drafting team provides drafting services for a wide range of institutions, including government ministries, state corporations, and regulatory bodies. Our lawyers excel at crafting clear and enforceable laws, regulations, and policy frameworks, therefore contributing to the creation of effective legal standards across Kenya. We take pride in having been part of the team that drafted Kenya’s 2010 Constitution. Through our work on projects with Parliament and consultative drafting with stakeholders, our team ensures that all legislation we develop aligns with best practices and promotes transparent governance.
Beyond drafting, we offer policy advisory services, engaging directly with bodies like the Attorney-General’s Office and the Law Reform Commission to contribute to Kenya’s evolving legislative landscape. We bring a deep understanding of the legislative process, tailoring our services to meet the needs of each client and to support Kenya’s broader development goals.
